Ianson Internet Marketing Launch The People’s Engine – Mondit

March 13th, 2009

Ianson the jobsite and recruitment website specialists have launched their second innovation this year. Mondit to be known as “The People’s Search Engine” has been created to take on the giant dominating UK search “Google”. Ian Peters, Ianson’s managing director was quoted “I know many people will laugh at our ambition to rival Google in UK search and this is a long term aspiration. The core to our model is revenue sharing and viral marketing, there is a very profitable market for PPC or pay per click traffic and the recruitment industry are very substantial contributors to that market. We believe by offering a greater range of advertising models than Google at a lower cost and giving affiliates 50% of the revenue generated by advertisers that we can give Google a run for its money.”

The site is currently in beta phase and is free to submit listings to, for both the search engine and the directory, over the next few months a Job search area will be added as well as a shopping and travel areas, it will also soon be available in multiple languages. The site is currently a meta search engine offering results from all of the major search engines as well as its own results. One of the many quirky aspects of Mondit is the directory is that users are invited to rate and review sites that they visit, www.mondit.com really is the people’s search engine and with a massive SEO and marketing campaign already underway Mondit could soon be the new home of search.
